Sang-Taek Oh

Korean artist Sang-Taek Oh explores our insatiable materialism in his Process series. “This photograph was inspired by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s 1841 poem Excelsior, about a young man’s doomed march to plant a flag in the snow and ice,” he says. “I think it mirrors the plight of humanity.”
