My TOY: Mandylion Password Token
Story by Mitchell Amihod

Passwords have become the bane of our modern existence. You need one for e-mail, one for the bank, one for the executive washroom – and the list goes on. You can jot them down, but that’s not safe. And tattooing is a painful option.
Enter the token from Mandylion: a password-management device originally developed for the U.S. Department of Defense that meets any acronym requirements you can throw at it. The small token, which you can carry on your key chain, has space for up to 50 passwords and can even generate new ones if you’re stumped.
The only catch is that you’ll need to remember one code – the mother of all passwords – to retrieve your stash. And if you opt for the no-mistakes feature, make sure that you don’t forget mother or else the token will destroy itself on the first missed attempt. Ouch.
