THE STORYTELLERS
You can hear the road under your wheels in Stompin Toms stories about everyday Canadiana. Kathleen Edwards updates the themes no "Bud the Spud" for her and achieves international acclaim with the likes of Rolling Stone magazine for her major label debut, Failer. And then Halifaxs Buck 65 takes the same ideas but goes a bit
loco, adding hip hop to a country/ folk mix. This music is building a national mythology. These are big-time tunes for a big country.
