THE RHYME MASTERS

Back in 1989 Maestro Fresh Wes proclaimed: "This is a throw-down, a showdown. Hell no, I can’t slow down!" on "Let Your Backbone Slide," still one of the bestselling Canadian rap singles ever. He’s since shortened his name to Maestro, but he continues to be a king of the rhymes. So where’s the new blood? Enter BrassMunk. If The Fewturistic, their sophomore effort, sells as well as expected, they should trade in their metal and change their moniker to Goldmunk. Throw that one down.
