BAY WATCH
Degree of Difficulty: EASY
Take your pick of a private yacht or helicopter to whisk through unknown territory and immerse yourself in First Nations culture. Partake in potlatch ceremonies, paddle tribal canoes and hike ancient trade routes.

TIME OUT
Degree of Difficulty: EASY
Your cellphone is permanently attached to your head, and your flat screen has the power to transfix you for hours. Time to check out of tech-ville and check into the Forest House Eco-Lodge, 130 kilometres north of Lac La Ronge, Sask. Hike mossy glades and open meadows, eat the bounty of the organic garden and relax on easy chairs overlooking the lake. Move over, Ms. Hilton. Its someone elses turn to lead the simple life.
